I tend to not give out my real name online, but if you know me in real life, you may know it! Online I prefer to go by my artistic alias, Rayne “McKinley” Mason; sometimes I use Wesley McKinley, who is basically my mascot/persona character (see below).

I’m 31 years old, female, autistic, Christian, and asexual, but I try not to label myself too much, as I view myself as far more than my labels (I’m actually not a huge fan of labels, but since people ask all the time…).

I am currently taken by a wonderful partner, and together we care for 2 monitor lizards, a tegu, and a blue-tongued skink!

Though I’m a female, my character is male. His first name, Wesley, is actually what my boy name would have been had I been born a boy! His middle name, Ryan, is a play on Rayne, and what one of my teachers in college called me by accident, and we decided to keep it. “McKinley” comes from Final Destination 3, both the movie as a whole (hence “McKinley massacre”) and the character himself. I have a complete story for him that will be turned into a webcomic someday!

Any negative comments regarding his species will be deleted; please do not harass me over this, it’s not changing.

FAQ

Do you take commissions for [insert project here]?

At one point I did, but after struggling to keep up and a bunch of life stuff getting in the way, I no longer do this. Perhaps in the future I can revisit the idea, and I appreciate the interest, but I no longer do commissions!

What are your pronouns?

I’m simply a tomboy and a woman with a male character. I don’t mind what pronouns you decide to call me. Some people prefer referring to me as “they/them”. I personally have no preference; call me whatever makes you most comfortable!

Can I draw fanart of McKinley or any of your other characters?

Yes! See the note in my footer bar below. I always appreciate fanart as long as its SFW (safe for work, aka non-pornographic or offensive). If I do get sent anything I consider offensive, you’ll likely be blocked on that platform.
