Built with Game Creator 2’s flexible visual scripting system and fully integrated with its Inventory, Dialogue, and Stats modules, the Creatures Module for GC2 allows you to create any style of creature you can think up, from basic casual to mechanically complex.
Note: While this module is heavily based on the underlying design of Pokemon, I do hope users will create their own original game concepts! I added more options and advanced mechanics to this system beyond what Pokemon features for this reason; be creative, and have fun with it!

🛠️ Design Your Creatures
Create your creature using the dedicated Creature Editor window. From stats, to elemental typing, to abilities and more, add what makes this creature unique!
⚔️ Build Your Battles
Use GC2’s Dialogue module combined with the Turn Manager component to control turn-based phase or active-turn battles. Battle styles can range from 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, or even grid based battles! Use the Battle component to spawn a wild creature or a battle with a tamer. You have complete control over the encounter, from stat ranges, to teams, to AI and beyond.

The Follower system allows you to send out a creature from your party to travel and interact with! Supports 2D and 3D setups!
⚙️ Highly Customizable Settings
From party size to number of moves and even creature deployment options for grid battles, settings are highly customizable to fit many designs.
🔖 Flexible “Data” System
The built in Data system allows for complex mechanics. Data keys are like tags that allow you to reference strings, ints, or bools on a creature, move, or ability during damage calculation, or any other time! (For example, put a bool “Contact” -> True for moves that make physical contact with an opponent)
💾 Included Auto Dex System
After designing a Dex page and entries for a creature, adding it to your Dex is automatic; it even supports different skins, and hiding of skins that have yet to be seen! You can even customize Dex entries to unlock under specific conditions.
⚡ Custom Instructions, Triggers, and Conditions
Over 100 new visual scripting options for you to build your creatures world! Some of them don’t necessarily relate to Creatures specifically but I found them useful to the project, so they are included.
